Red Fox Kits Leaving the Den, Ottawa

A litter of red fox kits spills out of the den onto a grassy slope, backlit in the Ottawa area. A black-and-white panoramic wildlife print.

Meet the cubs. There’s the bold one, the butt-sniffer, the one who bites ears, the one who gets their ears bitten, and the one on the left who has clearly already had enough of everyone. 🦊

Unbaited and unstaged, photographed by Ottawa wildlife photographer Tanya Heins.
