Carbide Willson Ruins, Gatineau Park
$209.99 CAD
The Carbide Willson Ruins on Meech Creek in Gatineau Park, Quebec, with the waterfall pouring past the empty windows and the first fall colour in the trees. A nature and landscape print.
Inventor Thomas “Carbide” Willson bought land at Meech Lake for his summer home in 1907, then built a dam, generating station and acid condensation tower here on the creek. He died in 1915, and the concrete shell has stood beside the falls ever since.
Photographed by Ottawa wildlife and nature photographer Tanya Heins.
Print details: Glossy photo print on archival Fujiflex High Gloss paper with a 1 cm white border, hand-processed by WhiteWall in Germany. Ships unframed. Customs or import fees may apply.
